Rave is a Linux based solution geared towards multi-user, high-end work-flows that first emerged in 2001 and has since found its way into many high-end facilities worldwide. Designed to emulate a deck and natively support standard industry frame formats, Rave offers the most comprehensive, expandable solution on the market today. With the flexibility and benefits of a file server, Rave is offering facilities an easy, inexpensive way to maintain a fully uncompressed digital path as they move from tape and film based workflows into an all digital one. Rave supports both video and data infrastructures and allows frames to immediately be usable, no matter where they originate from.
