Sony Professional Launches Entry-Level HXR-MC50E Camcorder (19/4/2010)

Sony Professional has today announced a new entry-level professional camcorder, the HXR-MC50E, which is designed to combine the simplicity and usability of a traditional consumer camcorder with the look and feel of a professional model.

Designed for video producers looking to benefit from the award-winning features of the Sony Professional camcorder range, the ultra compact HXR-MC50E camcorder is the ideal solution for everyone from students and freelance video journalists, to professional video producers recording large scale corporate events.

The HXR-MC50E utilises the expertise and breadth of knowledge from Sony’s Professional camcorders, whilst offering outstanding picture performance in the entry-level market. The camcorder is equipped with a Lens Hood, ECM Shotgun Microphone and a higher capacity battery, all tailored to the specific needs of the professional user.
