News n-Track Software adds flexible audio signal routing capabilities to n-Track DAW software with version 6.0.5 (10/8/2009) The new release adds flexible audio signal routing capabilities. n-Track Software announces today the release of version 6.0.5 of the n-Track Studio music recording and editing software www.ntrack.com . The free update adds the ability to send the output of any audio channel (track, aux, group, instrument) to any other available audio channel. What before was an “aux send” is now just a “send” which can be directed to any existing audio channel, allowing for more creative use of n-Track’s virtual mixing board. The new signal routing algorithm also allows the program to make increased use of multicore CPUs distributing channels more evenly across the available cores. The 6.0.5 updates also fixes various bugs and has many user interface enhancements including a new Level Meter Ruler tool to allow setting a reference level to target during manual mixing, and an improved Signal Path window that gives a interactive view of the mixing channels interconnections. n-Track Studio 6.0.5 works on Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 2000 operating systems. It supports VST and DirectX plug-ins and instruments, ReWire connections and Asio, WaveRT, WDM or MME multichannel audio drivers. The program’s ease of use makes it perfect for small studios and for music recording enthusiasts who want to record their own home made music.
