Hitachi looks to expand its sales team in the UK and Europe (16/7/2009)

Due to increased demand for its professional video and broadcast camera systems, Hitachi is recruiting new high quality sales people.

Our launch a new range of broadcast cameras in the UK and Europe is now well underway. The new range will capitalise on the excellent success of our cameras in the US, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

These sales positions represent a great opportunity to help establish Hitachi in the top two world brands for Broadcast Camera Systems.

The successful candidates will be highly motivated, have a proven track record in the UK Broadcast equipment market and an appreciation of the international sales environment. He or she will have a good technical aptitude sufficient to discuss and negotiate with senior engineers in our industry.

Although part of a sales team the applicant must be capable of working under his or her own initiative. A full clean driving license and valid passport are essential. The ability to communicate in French and/or Arabic would be an additional advantage.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to work as a team player in our Hertfordshire HQ and be comfortable talking at a high level about technology products and their applications within the Broadcast and Video arena.

The jobs will require travel throughout the UK and Ireland as standard with some requirement to support our businesses in Europe, the Middle east and Africa.

Compensation will include a very competitive base salary and an achievable commission structure.

The position attracts a company car and all the other benefits associated with being a part of the Hitachi team.
