News Hitachi extends flexibility of SK-HD1000 HDTV studio and field production camera (22/9/2008) Hitachi Kokusai Electric Inc. will showcase substantial performance, features and accessory additions to its range of HD Studio and Field production Cameras. SK-HD1000; it's newest HDTV dockable studio and field production camera. The SK-HD1000 is HITACHI's 2-piece camera platform that offers maximum configuration flexibility. It provides user-benefits not available in one-piece camera systems. The dockable camera head design makes changeover between interfaces simple and quick. The Camera system is offered with a wide range of interface and recorder options including: Squeezing the most from its world-renowned digital processing expertise, HITACHI has upgraded the performance of its SK-HD1000 camera to an outstanding 60dB+ HDTV Signal to Noise Ratio at F10,0 and a resolution of 1100 Horizontal TV Lines. Furthermore, complimenting this performance benchmark, Hitachi introduces a new range of Colour LCD and monochrome CRT viewfinders, Remote control panel RU-1200JY, Master setup unit SU-1000 and Studio/field Adapter SA-1000. The New CCU design Model CU-HD1000 equally offers exceptional flexibility by providing users not only choice of fiber or digital triax/coax transmission but also with built in Cross-converter for interlace to progressive conversion and embedded Broadcast quality digital audio in the HD-SDI outputs. Also on show will be the SK-3200 series HD Studio and Field use Camera range. The SK-3200 is showcased with the SA-3100 and new 8 inch Viewfinder. The SK-32B, the camera head for robotic and pan/tilt applications will also be on display. HV-HD30 & DK-H32 Hitachi's range of compact box cameras for POV application will be shown mounted on the EAGLE pan tilt system. The HV-HD30 is a low cost multi-format HD unit with on screen menu switching between interlace and progressive HD modes and also SD 16:9 & 4:3, a truly flexible unit for all remote controlled applications. The DK-H32 a "studio HD camera in a box" can be used with a huge range of 2/3rd inch HD lenses will be shown on the EAGLE PT-101. Digital Triax - SK-900 & Z-3500W The SK-900, Hitachi's flagship SD camera will be demonstrated with the TU-SD1, Digital Triax system. The TU-SD1 provides current SD Camera system buyers with an upgrade path to future HD operation without complete replacement of the Triax system. The Z-3500W camera, Hitachi's entry level SD camera will also be operating with the TU-SD1.
