EditShare Launches Portable Shared Storage System (26/9/2006)

EditShare, the pioneer of cross platform collaborative editing and shared media storage systems, announced the launch of EditShare Field, the worldÕs first portable shared storage solution, at IBC. In addition EditShare will show the shipping version of EditShare version 4.0 that was launched in April at NAB.

EditShare Field was designed for location editing and is contained in a portable, ruggedised casing providing easy and secure transportation and storage. It is the worldÕs only portable shared storage system to offer Avid project sharing and is also rack-mountable.

EditShare v4.0 which has started shipment brings users a host of new productivity enhancing features, including support for uncompressed HD, faster hardware and larger hard drives, and a new scalable architecture.

Availability

EditShare Field will be available in Q4 2006. EditShare version 4.0 is available now from EditShareÕs large international network of resellers with a MSRP starting at 13,750 Euros.
