Solid State Logic Releases C200 DAW Control Software (15/5/2006)

New Features Enhances Console's Versatility in Music, Broadcast and Post Applications

With more than 100 Solid State Logic C-series consoles in the field, the C200 Digital Production Console is now a proven and popular console in applications as varied as post, broadcast and music production. The new C200 Version 3.2 builds on this success to add powerful control and integration features that benefit all of these applications. The new software was demonstrated at NAB 2006, April 24-27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Booth # N822).

Headline items include sophisticated new GPI control possibilities that offer remote control of a wide range of external equipment, and delivery of a new DAW Control option, providing true workstation integration using experience and technology from the successful AWS 900+ Analogue Workstation System. These provide direct control of equipment as varied as comms systems, playout machines, remote signalling logic and digital audio workstations, from the C200's acclaimed control surface. With its legendary audio quality, the world's most powerful automation system and now with the addition of advanced control capabilities, the C200 is the perfect choice for the most demanding of audio production challenges.

In real time applications, a sophisticated new snapshot system allows sequencing and crossfade of console set-ups under manual or automated control. In broadcast and live applications the new snapshot capabilities allow smooth, sophisticated scene changes, perfect for complex entertainment shows that mix live music and dialogue.

An enhanced monitor matrix allows independent adjustment of gain for individual return channels, perfect for use in complex post-production applications where multiple stem returns need to be monitored simultaneously.
