Matrox Certifies Ciprico NETarray 2215AH, Gives Creative Editors a Powerful Storage Solution for Axio HD Editing Platform (5/5/2005)

Solution allows two uncompressed HD video streams at 1080i 10-bit frame resolution

Ciprico Inc. (NASDAQ: CPCI), a leading storage solutions provider for the data-intensive and high-performance digital media markets, today announced that Matrox has certified Ciprico's NETarray(r) 2215AH for Matrox applications. Matrox is a leading designer of software and hardware solutions in the fields of graphics, video editing, image processing and new business media.

In Matrox's testing lab, the NETarray 2215AH was paired with Axio HD(tm), Matrox's new real-time HD editing platform, and Adobe Premiere Pro. The result yielded two simultaneous streams of uncompressed HD video at 1080i 10-bit frame resolution. Matrox has a long partnership with Ciprico and has previously certified several other Ciprico products - and there are plans to certify some of Ciprico's newest products that will be introduced at NAB 2005.
