Wohler Announces New HD-SDI, SD-SDI and Composite Video Monitor and Converter (14/4/2005)

At NAB 2005, Wohler Technologies will announce the release of a complete high quality audio/video monitoring system concentrated in a space-saving 2 RU by Wohler Technologies. The VAMP2-S8MDA offers premium quality 8 channel Analog, AES/EBU, HD-SDI/ SD-SDI digital multi-channel audio monitoring & conversion with professional level metering.

The VAMP2-S8MDA features eight 26-segment high-resolution tri-color LED level meters showing simultaneous VU and PPM for superior level metering. Any of the eight channels may be selected independently and sent to the two-channel speaker system, headphone output, and phase indicator. The VAMP2-S8MDA is also a useful tool for converting and de-embedding audio from HD-SDI.

The VAMP2-S8MDA also comes with a gooseneck-mounted VPODTM LCD screen (5.8_) and offers confidence video monitoring from the two composite analog video sources and two HD-SDI/SD-SDI digital video sources. Also included is a composite video monitor output from the selected HD-SDI/SD-SDI source for use with larger, external video monitors.
