We are in the process of spring-cleaning The NLE Buyers Guide. All types of nonlinear video editing and recording systems qualify, including turnkey systems, video card and/or software packages, video disk recorders and multichannel servers for editing, edit controllers and host platforms. If you manufacture such a product, please complete the online form as soon as possible. With the memory of the NAB Show fading, and with Broadcast Asia and InfoComm just over, it must be time to start thinking about IBC! Among the first IBC announcements is that NHK, RAI and the BBC will demonstrate live international links of Super Hi-Vision. As well as the demonstrations in the NHK theatre, there will be an IBC conference session at which some of the technologies behind the systems will be discussed, and the future for ultra high definition television like Super Hi-Vision will be debated.
